Gerald Ross Agency has been proudly serving the Oregon Coast from our home in Brookings since 1937, and while we are staying right here where we belong, this new Bend location means that the same independent insurance values our clients have trusted for nearly 90 years are now more accessible than ever to families and businesses throughout Central Oregon.

As Insure Pacific President Monica Elsom told Cascade Business News: "We are excited that we've opened our Bend office. We're already seeing a great reaction to it. We've been in business for over 91 years in Central Oregon, so the space may be new but we've had solid relationships in Bend already, so we're just trying to build on that."

One of the reasons Monica and her team are seeing such a strong reaction in Bend is a trend we at Gerald Ross Agency have watched closely from the Oregon Coast: the consolidation of local insurance agencies by large national financial firms. As Monica noted: "It's been a growing issue that these big financial firms are buying up the smaller agencies, so you're not getting that local attention and customer service that you really paid your agent for in the first place. We're here, we're local and we have a full staff, so I wanted to expand on that."
